1) Pantai Dasar Sabak (Beach), near Kota Bharu, Kelantan - one of the spots chosen by the Japanese army to invade Malaya on 7the Dec 1941 during the World War Two !
2) Kuala Pak Amat Village, Kota Bharu, Kelantan - the landing point where the Japanese forces (an army of 6,000 Japanese solidiers led by Major General Hiroshi Takumi) invaded Malaya on 7th Dec 1941 at 23.45, a historic landmark, 12km from Kota Bharu, Kelantan
3) Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kota Bharu, Kelantan - after a 3km beach walk from Pantai Dasar Sabak to Kuala Pak Amat village, my travel buddy took a flight from the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport & return home to Singapore. As for me, I stayed on for another night in Kota Bharu !
4) Travel tips to Perhentian Islands - Public transport from Kota Bharu > Kuala Besut - 3 departures daily ie 08.30, 13.00 & 17.00
Boat services from Kuala Besut > Perhentian Island - departure daily from 08.30 & 17.30 (journey 30 minutes) - return ticket Rm70 for adult, children Rm35. Boat services from Perhentian Island 08.00, 12.00 & 16.00
