China (Nanning, Kunming & Guiyang) Feb 2019 - Food & Hotels

My China Dream - I love visiting China !

For this 10 day free & easy visit to South western China covering 3 capital cities of Guangxi, Yunnan & Guizhou, our group stayed a total of 4 nights in Nanning (3 nights upon arrival & 1 night upon departure), 3 nights in Kunming & 2 nights in Guiyang. For bigger cities like Kunming, ideally we recommend a 4 nights stay as for Guiyang a minimum stay of 3 nights will be ideal !

Decent food, decent lodging & decent public transport (Metro, buses & high speed trains) making our free & easy visit in China for the last 10 days a very pleasant one with certain degree of comfort especially for senior citizens !

Makan Makan (Eating) in Nanning - our small eats ie breakfasts, lunches & dinners were taken in local eatery stalls near our hotel & tourist places; Zhongshan Food Street offered a varieties of small eats, snacks & exotic food (fresh, tasty & cheap) ! For our 4 nights stay in Nanning, both of us spent CNY390 (Rm234) on food which also covered buying of fresh fruit, snacks & cakes & pastries etc

Makan Makan (Eating) in Kunming - plenty of choices for small eats nearby our hotel so if you are not fussy about food, for CNY15-CNY20 per person, you could order a noodle lunch or dinner set meal come with a plate of chicken + vegetable or clay pot rice with sliced chicken or beef + mushrooms or vegetable ! Our food expenses (2 persons) for 3 nights stay in Kunming comes to CNY222 (Rm133).

Makan Makan in Guiyang - many food & small eat stalls lining the main street of our hotel so we did not have to go far to have our breakfast, lunch & dinner for our 2 nights stay in Guiyang ! Both of us enjoying eating dumplings & pau in Guiyang, cheap & tasty CNY1.50 to CNY2.50 each ! Our food bills in Guiyang (2 nights for 2 persons) costs approx CNY150 (Rm90).
