Day 7 - paid an admission fee of 200,000 Rials (Euro$3.45) each to enter the 3 premier tourist sites in Naghsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan ie Ali Qapu Palace, Iman (Shah) Mosque & Sheik Lotfollah Mosque. Lovely to see & admire these ancient buildings - a pride of Iran !
1) Ali Qapu Palace, Naghash-e Jahan Square - built for Shah Abbas, completed in 16th century, has a music room & a verandah overlooking the square's fountains - admission fee 200,000 Rials (Euro$3.45)
2) Panoramic view of Naghsh-e Jahan Square from the top floor of Ali Qapu Palace
3) Iman (Shah) Mosque, Naghash-e Jahan Square - Admission Fee 200,000 Rials (Euro$3.45) - built in the 17th century, the dome & minarets are covered with tiles & calligraphy.
4) Sheik Lotfollah Mosque, Naghash-e Jahan Square - Admission fee 200,000 (Euro$3.45) -the most beautiful mosque in the world, known for its intricate tiling.
