Day 2 - Tuesday 9th Jan 2018 - after a hostel breakfast, I took a Metro from Dubai Internet City to Al Fahidi station focussing my visit to Dubai Museum, The Grand Mosque, Old Souk, Heritage Village, Gold Souk, Spice Souk & Dubai Creek area. After the Old Dubai visit, I took a metro from Al Ras station to Burj Khalifah / Dubai Mall station to visit the surrounding area. A great start for my 1st day to catch a glimpse & feel of an old & new vibrant Dubai city !

Dubai Metro RTA card - purchase a new card with a purse value of 25 dhm, eligible for all Metro trains & trams & RTA bus rides, top up anytime with a minimum purse value of 7.50 dhm to continue using the card ! Dubai Metro currently has 2 lines (red & green) serving the downtown city area & airports & a Tram line serving Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai Marina mall & Palm Jumeirah area. A mono rail that connects Palm Jumeirah to Atlantis Aquaventure.
