Note: due to a revised travel itinerary, Day 6 travel program had moved forward to Day 4 (Oct 29 2023) & also included visits to Shangsui Show, Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area & Zhengyang Pedestrian Street - all in Guilin City.

Day 4 Travel itinerary Part 2 - focusing our group's visit in Guilin to Shangsui Show, Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area, a night visit to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street & a Waterfall Show in Lijiang Waterfall Hotel. 

1) Compulsory tour No 2 - Shangsui Show, Guilin, Guangxi - large scale panorama song & dance show with Guilin grace, thrilling & entertaining of 1 hour show ! Prior to the start of the show, there was a presentation of calligraphy art by a renowned Master Calligrapher from China & a few pieces of the Master's calligraphy art were offered for sale to the indoor audience & also to the general public at the concert hall after the show ! 

2) Compulsory Tour No 3 - 2 Rivers & 4 Lakes scenic area, Guilin, Guangxi - a walking tour, the 2 rivers are Li & Peach Bloom River; the 4 lakes are Rong, Shan, Gui & Mulong.

4) Zhengyang Pedestrian Street,  Guilin, Guangxi - after our tour group's visit to East West Lane, our group spent the late evening in Zhengyang Pedestrian Street (enjoying local street food) prior to our dinner before retiring for bed ! 

Compulsory Tour No 5 (Final) - Waterfall Show in Lijiang Waterfall Hotel - my 3rd visit to view this waterfall show (performing nightly at 20.30), my last visit to Guilin was in 2014 ! 

Day 4 hotel buffet breakfast in Guilin, Guangxi - my favourite breakfast, white porridge with deep fried dough ! 

Our tour group's lunch in Guilin, Guangxi - specialty dish is bihun (rice vermicelli) banquet ! Guilin bihun is a favourite local noodle dish - a must eat ! 

Our tour group's dinner in Guilin, Guangxi - roasted chicken, flat cheong fun (rice rolls) & braised pork belly with taro (yam) were my favourites !
