Travel Itinerary: Subang Jaya > Taman Equine > Kajang > Bandar Salak Tinggi > Dengkil > Taman Equine > Subang Jaya, Selangor (mileage 130km)

Taking a cue from 2 local press media reporting on a tourism article about "Let's Go Dengkil" hence this Sunday weekend day trip (together with my wife & sisters) to Kajang, Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (BBST) & Dengkil, all these small suburban towns are located in the state of Selangor, around 20 to 30 minutes of driving from my home place, Subang Jaya !
Except Hilltop Cuisine Kota Warisan (opening hour at 12.00) & despite a wet & gloomy weather, our morning outing was well spent & my group visited the following touristy places, all were my 1st time visit ie 1) Saudagar Nanas Agrofarm, Kajang, 2) Sepang Art Street Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (BBST), 3) Tian Hu Kong Temple & 4) Ji Lin Miao, Pekan Temple followed by a tai chow lunch in Dengkil Village before heading home sweet home ! Another no frill & "KISS (Keep It Short & Sweet) style of my travelling accomplished !

Stopover No 1 - Saudagar Nanas (Pineapple) Agrofarm, Kampung Merab Luar, Kajang, Selangor - a 8 hectare agrofarm, undulating plantation land, single lane road uphill off the main road so drive carefully, limited parking lots so suggest visit early in the morning, prepare to queue up to order your food, avoid visiting when raining as the uphill walking paths could be slippery !
Hawaii's MD2 or "Millie Dillard 2" & Keningau Diamond varieties of pineapples are grown in this agro farm - the Hawaii pineapple variety is reported to be sweeter in taste & contain 4 times of vitamin C than other varieties sold in the market place ....
As my visit was on a Sunday weekend morning (09.00) & despite a gloomy weather, the cafe at the hilltop of the Agrofarm was filled with visitors (long queue observed) enjoying their choice of breakfast comprising all kinds of pineapple-based meals & snacks & at the same time admiring the scenic views of the undulating pineapple plantation & a panoramic view of nearby Bangi town !
Stopover No 2 - Sepang Art Street Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Selangor - Mural art @ BBST Walk; attractive wall mural paintings, very "refreshing", emphasizes cultural elements & local way of life of the multiracial society !
Stopover No 3 - Tian Hu Kong, Jalan Besar, Dengkil, Selangor - built in 1926, dedicated to the Chinese deity Nazha or The Third Prince.
Stopover No 4 - Pekan Dengkil, Selangor
