Travel itinerary: Taiping > Bagan Serai > Parit Buntar > Tanjung Piandang > Ban Pecah > Kuala Kurau > Chew Boo Kong Temple > Hua Seng Kong Temple > Antong Coffee > Taiping (approx 133km)
1) Raintree Walk, Taman Tasik Taiping (Taiping Lake Gardens). Taiping, Perak - morning walk in Raintree Walk, Taiping Lake Gardens prior to our breakfast, fresh cool morning air, scenic lakeview & lots of greeneries ! Well preserved hundred years old Angsana trees propped up by heavy duty metal bars, slumping trees & cascading branches, beautiful landscape, an unique sight !
2) Taman Tasik Taiping or Taiping Lake Gardens, Taiping, Perak - 1st public garden in Malaysia, opened in 1880, this garden is equivalent to the size of 146 football fields !
3) Makan Makan (Eating) - our group's breakfast (noodle soup, popiah, chee cheong fun, coffee etc totalled Rm38 = US$8.45) in Kedai Kopi Prima Coffee Shop, Jalan Kota, Taiping.

4) Masjid Warisan Banjar, Bagan Serai, Perak - the old wing of this mosque was built in 1897 !







5) Bagan Serai Town & the surrounding, Perak - Bagan in Malay language is jetty, Serai is lemon grass, located 52km from Georgetown, capital of Penang, the town is an important collecting & processing centre for the paddy plantation.
6) Parit Buntar Town, Perak - a town in Kerian district, bordering Nibong Tebal in Penang & Bandar Baharu in Kedah, Kerian district is known as the rice bowl of Perak due to large areas of padi fields.
7) Clock Tower, Parit Buntar Perak - an iconic landmark !
8) Dato Kong Chinese Temple (Ku Miao), Parit Buntar, Perak - built in 1884, the oldest temple in town !
9) Taman Pinggiran Sungei Kerian & the surrounding, Jalan Sungai, Kampung Permatang Tok Mamat, Parit Buntar, Perak - beautiful landscape, scenic river views from pavilions for visitors to relax & enjoy the view, gloomy weather & drizzling at the time of our visit.
10) Dato Kong Chinese Temple (Great Zhejun), Jalan Pantai, Pantai Piandang, Perak - completed in 2015, largest & beautiful temple in town, located off the main road.
11) Ban Pecah, Tanjung Piandang, Batu Kurau, Perak
