Kuala Kurau, Perak - a fishing village along the coast of the Kerian district in north - western Perak & within the same sub-district as Kuala Gula.
1) Kelang Beras Hai Hin, Kuala Kurau, Perak - rice milling, selling the famous Kurau Embryo Rice & other rice products, brother Weng & sister Mei bought home a packet of Kurau Kampung rice.

8) Restoran Kean Seng Lee Cafe, Bagan Seberang, Kuala Kurau, Perak - this kopitiam is famous for deep fried prawn cakes, curry mee, prawn fritters, ice kacang, Ho Kar Sai (tiger bites lion, a mixed coffee & milo drink) etc. as my group had an earlier noodle lunch in Kuala Kurau town so we were happy to order 2 bowls of ice kacang (bean ice @ Rm4) dessert & loitered our time at the Kopitiam & the waterfront area !

13) Hua Seng Kong, Jalan Gula, Kuala Kurau, Perak - a Buddhist temple, location is a bit remote inside a privately owned palm oil plantation, roads not tarred & bumpy, so drive carefully & slowly especially on wet days !
14) Antong Coffee Mill, Taiping, Perak - Malaysia most historical coffee mill since 1933, my last visit was in Aug 2020, our group bought home a few packets of Antong White Coffee (2 in 1).

1) Makan Makan (Eating) - our group's light breakfast (07.15 > 08.00) in M & M Kopitiam, Jalan Tokong, Taiping, Perak, each of us savour a bowl of fish ball kway teow soup (Rm4.50 = US$1), also bought home roasted pork (Rm20), tau sah piah / Kai Chai Pet (green bean pastry / chicken biscuit @ Rm1.50) & assorted steamed buns !

After an early breakfast in M & M Kopitiam, Taiping Town, it was time to head home thus ending my 3 days Cuti Cuti Malaysia in Taiping, Kuala Sepetang, Bagan Serai, Parit Buntar & Kuala Kurau visit ! Indeed, it was an enjoyable & relaxing visit. I shall return one fine day to this peaceful town called Taiping ! Taiping in Chinese literally means "Peace" !

3) Rest & Recreation (R & R) Highway stops along North-South Highway (Taiping > Kuala Lumpur) - 2 short brief stopovers for toilet runs & coffee break / light refreshment.
