7) World of Phalaenopsis, Taman Orchid, Ulu Yam Baru, Hulu Selangor, Selangor - founded by 2 hobbyists with a passion for growing a wide range of orchids in the backyard; after establishing the 6 acre farm in Ulu Yam, they now owned a second farm in Genting Highlands; a pot of orchids sold here is as low as Rm15 - Rm25 ! Orchids, Orchids, I love you ! Roses, Roses, I love you too ! My sister Mei bought home a small bonsai plant (Rm10), a small "harvest" for her in this outing !
Orchids, Orchids, Orchids - The World of Phalaenopsis on show & sale in Ulu Yam Baru, Malaysia ! Simply too beautiful & awesome to look at ! I really fall in love in this place !
Our group's lunch in Swee Yen Restoran, Ulu Yam New Village, Hulu Selangor - an old established restaurant, our group (a treat from me) ordered 4 dishes of food comprising of their signature dish, Loh Mee (braised noodle with thick soya / vinegar gravy), Kao Yoke (canned stewed pork) mi hoon, Fish paste / 5 spice Chinese meat roll & stir fried green vegetable + 1 pot of hot Chinese tea, totalled Rm73 (US$17.80); our group also bought home a few packets of round pastries from Swee Yen Shop located a few shops away.

After over 6-7 hours of our Jalan Jalan (driving & walkabout) in Serendah, Batang Kali & Ulu Yam & a delicious lunch, it was time to head home - Home Sweet Home !
