" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) solo, free & easy day trip (Sunday Nov 8 2020, 09.30 > 11.30) to Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor, travelling by own vehicle & using GPS; my 16th outdoor trip after the lifting of Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Malaysian Government on June 10 2020 but my home state, Selangor was placed under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from Oct 14 to Nov 9 & a further extension to Dec 6 2020 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in major states of Malaysia; my 1st visit to Mural at Backlane, Jalan Kenari, Puchong Jaya, Selangor " 

Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) has been extended from Nov 9 > Dec 6 2020 nationwide except in the states of Pahang, Perlis & Kelantan; so no inter-state travel but inter-district travel is allowed; most Malaysians have to put on hold their Cuti Cuti (Vacation) Malaysia during this year end period ! Looking at the current scenario, the forthcoming Deepavali (Nov 14) & Christmas (Dec 25) will probably be an eerily quiet affair ! 

Travel Itinerary: SS17 Subang Jaya > Puchong Jaya > Subang Jaya (approx 20 km)

Expenses incurred (Petrol & toll): Rm5 + Rm4.20 = RM9.20 (US$2.19)

Travel Highlights: 

1) Mural at Backlane (Kenari Lane), Jalan Kenari 2, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor - located opposite the IOI Mall & near the IOI Puchong Jaya LRT station; this mural painting is the collaboration between One Academy & Subang Jaya City Council; 103 final students from the One Academy completed this mural painting project within 6 days ! The murals show the beauty & elements of the Malaysian culture & portray the uniqueness of the country ! 

2) IO1 Boulevard, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor - a lifestyle centric hub in the heart of Bandar Puchong Jaya !

3) IOI Mall, Puchong Jaya, Selangor - this 4 storey shopping center has over 250 shops, it has 2 wings ie the Old Wing & the later New Wing, it was opened in 1996 in Bandar Puchong Jaya

4) Food Street, IOI Mall, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor - shop & eat, a haven for gluttons, just take a stroll in Food Street & there will be plenty of delighted food to bite, be it Western or Oriental for you to choose & no doubt you will enjoy a delicious meal at your own leisure in this modern shopping mall !               

5) Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor - a modern township in Puchong, Subang Jaya & Petaling district, it was developed by IO1 Group, a public listed company in property development & plantation
