Travel Highlights
1) The Tree of Hope, Indah UPC Building, Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur - opposite Vivo Residential Suites, took 9 months to complete this mural masterpiece by a local architect cum artist, this largest mural in Malaysia is 6 storey high covering approx 2,500 sq m
2) Evangelica Lutheran Zion Church (1924), Jalan Abdul Samad, Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur - built by immigrants of Indians from the Tamil speaking areas of India, who came to British Malaya during the 19th & 20th century working mainly in the plantation sector.
3) Gasing Hill, Petaling Jaya, Selangor - situated between Kuala Lumpur & Petaling Jaya, visited a section of the Gasing Hill during this CMCO period, one of the best place for hiking in Klang Valley, once a rubber plantation now an ideal place for urbanite family outing & hiking during weekends & festive holidays !
4) PJ Old Town, Petaling Jaya, Selangor - my wife's birth place, the oldest urban area within the city of Petaling Jaya, occasionally my wife & myself like to come here for food & buying traditional Chinese herbs & medicine & sundry household items etc !
After 3 hours of Jalan Jalan (Walkabout), I headed home & went out with my wife to savour a bowl of my favourite Pan Mee (Hakka style handmade noodle dish) in a coffee shop in Subang Jaya, my home place; as for the rest of the day, I devoted most of my time watching CNN news on the latest outcome of the General Election in America & I believe the whole world is hooked on watching the American news in excitement at this moment & the next few days !
