Kampar, Perak - known as Education City in Kampar District, founded in 1887, the town lies within the Kinta Valley, an area rich with tin reserves, it was a tin mining town which boomed during the height of the tin mining industry.
1) Bandar Agacia Kampar, Perak - located 15 mins from Kampar town, home to a row of eye catching pastel shoplots known as University Square, themed after the Hong Kong Disneyland's Main Street, an ideal place for Instagram & photo shooting; at the time of our morning visit, this place was rather quiet & deserted ! A number of the Disney style eateries are no longer in operation due probably to a devastation in the entire tourism industry caused by the Covid-19 pandemic !

13) Shopping time ! Our group bought a few packets of local biscuits, snacks & pastries from Kedai Biskut Kampar
14) Restoran Kam Ling, Kampar - an old established Chinese restaurant in Malaysia ! serving Chinese cuisine, famous curry chicken bread, fried noodles, flaky egg tarts, moon cakes, pork porridge, pastries, dim sum etc - a good place to dine when in Kampar !
