" My Staycation (Cuti Cuti Malaysia) free & easy visit to Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah & Bahau, Negri Sembilan, Malaysia on a day trip (self-drive) with my brother & sisters on Sunday June 28 2020 (07.00 > 16.30) - my 4th Staycation (home vacation) after the lifting of the Movement Control Order by the Malaysian government on June 10 2020 amid the Covid-19 outbreak - my first visit to Kuala Pilah & Bahau; my last visit to Port Dickson was 7-8 years ago, this small town charm is well worth a visit for a short day trip from Kuala Lumpur " 


Travel Itinerary: Subang Jaya, Selangor  > Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan > Kuala Pilah > Bahau > Subang Jaya (total approx 310km)
- Subang Jaya > Port Dickson = 85km
- Port Dickson > Kuala Pilah = 70km
- Kuala Pilah > Bahau = 22km
- Bahau > Subang Jaya = 130km

Total expenses incurred: Rm45 (US$10.50)
Petrol & highway toll: Rm30 per pax (group of 4)
Food: Rm15

Subang Jaya, Selangor > Port Dickson (85km)

1) Saujana Beach, Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan (not that crowded at the time of my visit) - Port Dickson is located on the west coast, south of Kuala Lumpur; beaches dotted the coastline running south towards Tanjong Tuan; Lukut Museum, northeast of Port Dickson has exhibits about the area's history from the early 1800s


2) PD Waterfront, Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan - a popular spot for tourists & families especially during the evening to watch the sun set ! 



3) Port Dickson Town, Negri Sembilan - used to be a small port used by the British during the Straits Settlement period; in the old days, the town is a major producer of charcoal; old pre- war shop houses found mainly in Jalan Lima; also known as an "Army Town" which houses many of the army camps of Malaysian Army.


4) A public beach along the Telok Kemang, Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan
