Day 3 Tuesday 5 Nov 2019 - departs Kunming > Dali (334km) to visit Erhai Lake & Dali Ancient Town. Erhai simply means "sea shaped like an ear" implying the lake is ear shaped & as large as a sea !
1) Morning breakfast at our hotel in Kunming - plenty of food to savor, take your time & enjoy every moment of it ! My wife loves eating pastries but the Chinese made pastries have yet to make it to the level of French & Italian standards !

2) A brief stopover (after nearly 2 hours 30 mins of bus ride on the Kunming > Dali Highway) at Yun Nan Yi Service Area for toilet runs, refreshments & buying of snacks or tidbits etc !
3) Countryside sceneries (Kunming > Dali)
4) Our early lunch at a local restaurant in Dali, Yunnan before the hotel check in - as I am not a beer drinker, the Dali beer was given a cold shoulder on the dining table but one of tour member loves drinking beer so the Dali beer had only one winner here !
5) Our group's overnight stay (3rd Night) in Regent Hotel, Dali, Yunnan; hotel's main hall has a great display of wooden sculptures, paintings & antique furniture for guests to admire & appreciate; hotel owner is a very wealthy native in Dali !
6) Erhai Lake, Dali, Yunnan - No 2 largest high altitude fresh water lake in Yunnan province; a mother lake and also the main source of water supplies to all the ethnic tribes in Dali.
