Day 2 - Wednesday 15th May 2019 New York, USA Part 1 

Walking tour & Walking tall in Uptown & Midtown Manhattan, New York City  - a very productive & exciting day for our group ! 

1) Central Park, New York - took a subway train from Morgan Avenue (near our hostel) to Cathedral Parkway (110 St) station and enjoyed our 3 hours of cool morning walk starting from Central Park North to the southern end - a great start to explore this biggest beautiful park in Manhattan, New York ! 

2) The famous Plaza Hotel, New York 

3) While waiting for my 2 travel buddies queuing up for street food from a nearby food kiosk (I packed my own lunch), I loitered around the southern end of the Central Park to admire the surrounding, mostly high rise buildings & tourist attraction places in this Uptown Manhattan area …. 

Park Lane Hotel, Manhattan 

3) United Nation Plaza 

4) The Trump World Tower, Manhattan - a residential condominium in Midtown Mamhattan, New York City. The building was built by Donald Trump and opened in 2001. The Tower is located at 845, United Nation Plaza. 

4) Rockefeller Center, Manhattan - a National Historic Landmark, a large complex consisting of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres between 48th & 51st, facing 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan; Wisdom & Knowledge Shall Be The Stability Of Thy Times.

5) Radio City Music Hall, Midtown Manhattan 

6) The Theatre District / Times Square, Midtown West, New York City - towering digital billboards, colorful lightings, tourists haven sitting on giant red staircase above the TKTS booth which sells tickets to Broadway shows, food chains & restaurants abound ! 

7) Times Square / Duffy Square, Midtown West Manhattan - a New York City park - today is a beautiful day for me as my dream of seeing Times Square in Manhattan, New York has been fulfilled at this moment  !
