Flying High ! Drinking High when travelling ! |
I am not a coffee, tea & beer addict ! But in travelling with my travel buddies or family members, I do occasionally drink - just keep them in company. Of late, I enjoyed drinking hot coffee mixed with tea, never mind if the drink taste awful ! Others think that I don't like coffee but need the caffeine to keep awake especially I have an early morning train or bus to "catch" ! For most of the hotel buffet lunches or dinners, my wife and myself would normally like to end our meals with a cup of cappuccino, but I don't like Espresso as after a sip, the drink tastes like "Depresso" to me, very depressing indeed !
In travelling, if I have decent food, decent coffee or tea & a decent bed to rest my tired body, I am a happy soul !
Coffee is a language in itself. Many words of wisdom & funny liners have been written & said on coffee - here are some of them for your reading pleasure ! I too had been exposed to drinking various kinds of coffee, tea & beer when travelling - If Romans like to drink wine, Turks like to drink apple tea so do as the Romans & Turks do when you show up in Rome or Istanbul ! Have fun in drinking as well as travelling !
