Day 2 Monday July 24 2023 Part 1 - a long day for our group targeting to visit over 10 touristy places in Betong & beyond; visits mainly to focus on Betong Hot Spring, Winter Flower Garden, Wat Mala Prachasan, Chatharattaanaram Monastery, Wat Phuttha Thiwat & Sud Siam Park.
1) Our group's breakfast in Seng Dim Sum Restaurant, Betong - savoured 12 assorted dim sum dishes, 2 plates of chee cheong fun (rice rolls), 2 bowls of pork porridge & 1 pot of Chinese tea totalled 505bht (Rm68 = US$14.80)

3) OK Betong - Welcome to Betong !
4) Betong Hotsprings, Tano Maero, Betong - approx 5km from Betong town, a tourist attraction & a great place for foot bathing to help cured skin irritation & muscle pain ! Admission free ! Also along the main road in front of the Hotsprings, there are a number of durian stalls selling various varieties of Thai durians (bumper harvests especially during the months of July & August) for a sit-in durian feast !
5) Countryside scenery from Betong Hot Spring > Winter Flower Garden
6) Winter Flower Garden - our group's next destination after the Betong Hotsprings visit, approx 17km from Betong Hotsprings, uphill winding roads along the way so used low gear for safe driving, entrance fee for foreigners 40Bht (Rm5.40), scenic landscape & beautiful flower garden & nursery, ideal for an overnight stay in resort homes to experience the fresh cool mountain air & quiet environment !
