Day 3 Tuesday July 25 2023 - focused our group's visit to Betong Central Market, countryside visit to Aiyerweng, Betong Hotsprings & Chinese temples.
1) Betong Central Market - early morning visit to buy some local goodies !

2) Our group's breakfast in Tai Yearn Restaurant, Betong - asvaoured a bowl of my favourite fish maw soup (80bht = Rm10.80) & a plate of braised pork leg rice for 2 (190bht = Rm25.60).

3) Countryside visit from Betong town to Talay Mok Aiyoeweng The Sea of Mist area; reached the foothill at around 11.00am & took a few pictures around the area but our group decided to abort the Skywalk Aiyerweng visit as there were no pick up trucks for hire to take us up to the top during the time of our visit ! Opening hours for the Skywalk Aiyerweng is 05.30 > 16.00.
4) Leisure drive from the foothill of Aiyerweng > Betong Hotspring for our group's 2nd visit, enjoying the fresh cool mountain air & admiring the countryside greeneries, durian orchards etc
5) Betong Hot springs - located 5km from Betong town, another round of foot bathing hopefully to cure muscle pain & minor skin irritation etc, a popular tourist attraction, tour buses bringing in bus load of tourists for foot bathing & strolling around the hot spring area !
6) Our groups' small Thai durian feast at a durian stall in front of the Betong Hotsprings - bought 2.5kilos of Golden Pillow durians @150bht =Rm20.25 totalled 375bht (Rm50.60), yellow flesh, small seeds & tasty so a good treat for our group in Betong, a town now famed for durian eating especially during the months of July & August !

11) Our group late lunch in a local noodle restaurant located nearby our hotel, savoured a bowl of wan tan noodle soup 70bht (Rm9.45 = US$2.10)
11) Betong City Museum - after a noodle lunch, our group took a free & easy walk around the Betong town & spent the evening in Sud Siam Park & near the Betong City Museum area which was temporarily closed due to road constructions & tiling works in front of the museum building.

13) A panoramic view of Betong town from the Sud Siam Park hill.
14) An iconic monument made of stainless steel designed with 10 huge fingers from 2 hands put together to form a heart in the middle, located next to the Betong Central Museum in Sud Siam Park, visited twice this Instagram spot, very scenic to look at especially in the evening or at night when the monument is lighted up every few minutes with changing colors !
15) Our group's dinner in Ta Yearn Restaurant, Betong - savoured 4 tai chow (stir fried) Thai style 3 vegetable & 1 chicken based dishes 630bht = Rm85 (US$18.50)
