1) Changi Airport, Singapore - after attending my cousin brother Sung's wife cremation service (14.00 > 15.30) in Mandal Crematorium, my wife & myself took a MRT from Boon Keng MRT station to Serangoon (1st transit) & Payar Lebar (2nd transit) > Changi Airport to visit the Jewel Changi Airport, my 1st visit !
2) Floral Inspiration, Changi Airport, Singapore - the pair of sculptures represents the abundant growth of flora, an enrichment of the eco-system chat stimulates & provides energy for all living things. The artwork is hewn from "Han Bai Yu" which is a stone that is indigenous to China's Yunnan region & has close similarities to white jade. Its symmetrical , rounded perfection of form is symbolic of life & growth. The form bears reference to Singapore as the Garden City that continuously sprouts & flourishes. Singaporean sculptor, Han Sai Por, is well known for her sculptures carved in stone & figurative forms & organic shapes hewn from stone.
3) Jewel Changi Airport is a nature themed entertainment & retail complex surrounded by & linked to Changi Airport, also linked to one of its passenger terminals, its centrepiece is the world's tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, that is surrounded by terraced forest setting.
4) Christmas Odyssea at Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore - Christmas cheers & mood in the air !
5) Rain Vortex (World Tallest Indoor Waterfall) surrounded by terraced forest setting, this new iconic landmark attracted a number of visitors, both local & overseas during the Sunday weekend !
