" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy visit (09.00>13.00) to Ampang Park & Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur City Centre on March 15 2022, travelling by Rapid KL LRT train from SS15, Subang Jaya > Ampang Park & returning from KLCC > Subang Jaya, to meet up with my travel buddies, KF Wong & Thompson Tham; my 32nd outdoor trip after a National Lockdown (Movement Control Order / Emergency) imposed by the Malaysian Government on May 6 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases; a National Vaccination campaign is currently being implemented by the Malaysian Government (Phase 1 started in Feb 2021), as at Feb 5 2022 a total of 22.9 million individuals or 97.9% of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations, Selangor (my home state) is now under National Recovery Phase 4 (NRP4) starting from Monday Oct 11 2021 hence the Malaysian Government has eased restrictions allowing individuals with vaccination certificate or card for inter-state travels, dine-in restaurants, hotel accommodations & homestays, outdoor sport & activities etc "
Total expenses incurred (2 LRT train rides): Rm1.80 x 2 = Rm3.60 (US$0.50)
Travel itinerary: SS15, Subang Jaya > Ampang Park; returning journey KLCC > SS15, Subang Jaya (23km, one way)
Tuesday March 15 2020 - the start of my Rapid KL LRT train ride from SS15, Subang Jaya > Ampang Park, Kuala Lumpur (20 stops 09.00>10.00)
1) Cityscape near Ampang Park & the surrounding commercial district area along Jalan Ampang & Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur.
4) Shoppes At Four Seasons Place, 145, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur - after the Mihan Travel visit, I made a short visit to this upscale shopping mall before heading home sweet home (12.00) !
Qingming Festival - falls on Tuesday April 5 2022, also known as "Tomb Sweeping Day" or "Ancestors Day", an important observance for people of Chinese heritage in Malaysia as the day is all about honouring ones's deceased ancestors. To avoid a big crowd, my family members decided to do an earlier Qingming prayer this year !
Saturday March 12 2022 - Qingming prayer (Remembrance of Ancestors) with my wife, sisters Peng & Mei & brother Weng in Kwong Tung Cemetery, Bukit Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur; my parent & 2 younger brothers were cremated here.
Saturday March 12 2022 Makan Makan (Eating) - after the Qingming prayer, our group adjourned for lunch in Chan Hainam Kopitiam, Taman Equine, Serdang

Sunday March 13 2022 Sau Seng Lum Budhhist Temple, Section 1, Petaling Jaya Old Town (Sunday, March 13, 2022) - my visit (together with my wife, younger son & daughter-in-law) coincided with Qingming (Remembrance of Ancestors) prayer; Sau Seng Lum is a NGO which aims to help the community in need to rebuild life & hope from disabilities & diseases through medical services such as dialysis, medical rehabilitation & diabetes etc.
