" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy solo visit to Bukit Bintang on Sunday Oct 31 2021, travelling by Rapid KL LRT & MRT trains from SS15 Subang Jaya > Pasar Seni & then by MRT to Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur; my 11th outdoor trip after a National Lockdown (Movement Control Order / Emergency) imposed by the Malaysian Government on May 6 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases, a National Vaccination campaign is currently being implemented by the Malaysian Government (Phase 1 started in Feb 2021, as at Oct 28, a total of 22.1 million individuals or 95% of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations); Selangor (my home state) is now under the National Recovery Phase 4 (NRP4) starting from Monday Oct 11 2021 hence the Malaysian Government has eased restrictions allowing individuals with vaccination certificate or card for inter state travel, dine-in restaurants, hotel accommodation & homestay, outdoor sport & activities etc "

Total expenses incurred (2 LRT & 2 MRT transit train rides): Rm2.10 x 2 = Rm4.20 (US$1.00, Senior 50% discount), the distance from SS15 Subang Jaya (my home place) > Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur is approx 23km (one way), Restoran Hakka & The Ship, Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur are all within walking distance from Pavilion KL.

1) Pavilion KL - an award shopping mall located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's shopping paradise - attractive Deepavali decor in Pavilion KL, after the government has lifted inter state travel & allowing dine-in in my home state of Selangor under the National Recovery Phase 4 (NRP4) commencing Oct 11 2021, I observed more cars / people on the roads & shopping malls / food courts, touristy places are gradually filled & patronised with people (completed with 2 doses of vaccination) especially during the weekends !

Pavilion Mall Precinct Connection, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur  - colorful Deepavali festive decor lined the front entrance & pathway (interior) of Pavilion Mall !

Amazing 3D animation show, Pavilion KL - Coach giant dinosaur Rexy stomps over the busiest shopping district of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur - right timing & right place for me to capture a few moments of this amazing 3D animation of dinosaur Rexy performing a festive act ....

In Feb 20 2021 during the Chinese New Year (Day 9) festive season, while visiting Pavilion KL, I & my travel buddy, Thompson Tham had the opportunity of viewing the first of its kind 3D animation show of a Golden Bull charging with energy (outside of Pavilion KL !) & joining in the fight against Covid-19 to bring blessings of Good Health & Prosperity to the nation !

Cityscape of Bukit Bintang & Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur - I enjoy doing a Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) in this bustling & busy Bukit Bintang & the surrounding especially taking pictures of festive decor in shopping malls during the Chinese New Year, Ramadan (Malay New Year), Deepavali (Festival of Lights) & Christmas ! As long as I have these 4 things in me ie can eat, can walk, sleep well & have a nice bowel movement after each walk, I will continue to do the Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) for this coming Christmas (Dec 2021) & Chinese New Year (Feb 2022) ! Time flies, it was not easy for many people who had to go through the Covid-19 crisis during the last 20 months ! A New Normal life for all of us since the Day 1 when the Malaysian Government imposed the Movement Control Order (MCO) in March 2020 ..... LIFE is always full of challenges !
