" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy day trip to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Bandar Sunway, Selangor on Sunday Jan 24 2021 (10.30 > 12.15) travelling by own vehicle from SS17 Subang Jaya > Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor; my 27th outdoor trip after the lifting of Movement Control Order (MCO 1.0) on June 10 2020 but due to a surge in Covid-19 cases, my home state of Selangor was placed under Movement Control Order again (MCO 2.0) from Jan 13 > 27 2021 & a further extension to Feb 4 2021 banning inter-state & inter-district travel; in addition, a National Emergency has also been declared, effective Jan 12 2021 "
Travel itinerary (self drive): SS17, Subang Jaya > Bandar Sunway (approx 5km, SOP for MCO 2.0 limits travelling within a 10km radius)
Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya (5km from my house) - at 11.30am at the time of my wandering around the mall, everything looked quiet with fewer shoppers seen ... for the past few years, I had taken pictures of CNY decor in major shopping malls in Klang Valley, this year 2021 is indeed an Oxpicious one ! Where are the Ox & Cows (shoppers) especially during this crucial pre-Chinese New Year shopping time ? (Chinese Lunar New Year falls on Feb 12 & 13 2021)
Chinese Lunar New Year decor in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya - red is found everywhere during the Chinese New Year, red brings good luck & good fortune to all & gold for wealth and prosperity, both are auspicious colors of New Year ! I am in my golden years but I see "red" in my travelling life in 2020 & maybe 2021 as well ! But life goes on ! All my LIFE's a circle; But I can't tell you why; Season's spinning round again; The years keep rollin' by !
