" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy day trip to Shah Alam, Selangor & Kuala Lumpur, travelling on Sunday Oct 11 2020 by self drive car with my brother Weng; my 12th outdoor trip after the lifting of Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Malaysian Government on June 10 2020; my 1st visit to 1) Elmina Valley Park, iconic bridge & rainbow walkway (a new Instagrammable site in Shah Alam, Selangor), 2) Central Lake, Taman Tasik Shah Alam & 3) Wet World Water Park, Shah Alam; as for other iconic landmarks & touristy places I visited on this trip ie Asean Sculpture Garden, War Memorial, National Monument, Blue mosque, these were my re-visits in recent months / years "

1) Elmina Valley Park, near Shah Alam, Selangor - my 1st visit of the day, Elmina Central Park, Elmina City 

Elmina Iconic Bridge (newly completed but not open to public yet) - located next to the Elmina Central Park

Elmina Central Park & residences - a 2.8 mile (6,500 steps) route located near Shah Alam, ideal for jogging & cycling, this new township is developed by Sime Darby while the park is maintained by Shah Alam City Council

Rainbow Walkway, Elmina Central Park (almost completed, not yet open to public)

The colorful & scenic Saloma Link Bridge connecting Kampung Baru Village to the skyscrapers facing it, another new instagrammable spot which was officially opened on Feb 5 2020 in Kuala Lumpur; I visited twice both day & evening to do some photo-shooting on this iconic bridge in KL City Centre in early 2020 ! What a beautiful day & night for me to view this iconic bridge especially the night scene with skyscrapers on the background !
