Traditional Hakka style "kuih" (pastries & desserts), Bukit Koman, Pahang - bought 8 pieces of assorted kuih for home (Rm1 per piece), most kuih sold off by mid-day due to strong buying support from bus loads of tourists on day trips to Bentong / Raub from Kuala Lumpur both for sightseeing & savouring of local food !
Our group's lunch in Kedai Makan Teng Yu Keong, Bukit Koman, Pahang - famous for roasted duck (sold out), ordered 4 assorted dishes ie roasted char siew (pork), braised pig offal, stuffed tau fu & herbal soup + rice + drink - Rm88 (US$10.20) for a table of 5 !

Durian Roadside Stall, Raub - our group bought a few local "kampung" durian @Rm12 per kilo home - abundance supplies of various brands of durian ie Musang King, D-24, D-24 XO, 101 in Raub in the month of July - if you are a durian lover, you have make the right choice in visiting Raub, a little sightseeing & also for food !
After our lunch in Bukit Koman & temple visit, it was time to go home. Our group had a brief stopover in Bentong Walk before heading back to Kuala Lumpur ! Another productive weekend for me & my brother & sisters - another wonderful outcome for our Cuti Cuti Malaysia visit amid the Covid-19 outbreak & the lifting of MCO ! Country roads take me home to the place I belong ...
