Europe (Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina) March 2019 D-10

" Mostar is a city in southern Bosnia-Herzegovina, straddling the Neretva River. Known for the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), a reconstructed medieval arched bridge. The nearby alleys are full of shops & market stalls. The Old Bridge Museum has a good historical information on this city. A narrow staircase leads up to the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque's minaret for panoramic city views "

1) Mostar Town, Bosnia-Herzegovina - old churches & mosques, cobbled stones pavements, buildings destroyed during the Serbian - Bosnian war, buildings with bullet holes, souvenir shops & small alleys

4) Country side scenery as our bus drove pass the mountainous region from Mostar to Split

5) Brief stopover (20 minutes) at a Highway Petrol Station and R & R area  - our 2nd encounter with snow white in Bosnia !
