Afghanistan's made animal fur hats on sale at the Global Village

D-11 Thursday 18th Jan 2018 - I spent 4 1/2 hrs in this Global Village from late afternoon (15.30 to 19.30) just to see the Global Village in daylight and stayed on when the night is young when all the country pavilions are lighted up in colorful lighting ! What a great evening night for me to chill in this wonderland ! 

1) Bus No 106 departing from Mall of the Emirates > Global Village (1st bus departing at 15.00) - bus ticket 10dhm (one way); free admission for senior citizens above + 65

2) Global Village, Dubai by Day - entrance fee for Adults 15dhm, free for senior citizens above +65; a mini United Nation in the making in this Global Village with various countries showcasing their country's culture, food & country image in tourism. I salute Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria & Yemen, despite a political unrest in their home countries, their participation earned some brownie points for their countries. 

As I was strolling the compounds of the Global Village, this reminded me of a popular song singing & telling to the world :

" WE ARE THE WORLD. THERE COME A TIME WHEN WE HEAR A CERTAIN CALL. WHEN THE WORLD MUST COME BY TOGETHER AS ONE. THEY ARE PEOPLE DYING AND IT'S TIME TO LEND A HAND TO LIFE, THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL.

WE CAN'T GO ON PRETENDING DAY BY DAY THAT SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE WILL SOON MAKE A CHANGE, WE ARE ALL A PART OF GOD'S GREAT BIG FAMILY AND THE TRUTH, YOU KN0W, LOVE IS ALL WE NEED.

Thank you Dubai for presenting this Global Village to all visiting tourists from all over the world to enjoy a delightful evening here in Dubai ! You have made a brighter day & an enchanting night for all of us in this Global Village and let's hope that a better day awaits for those countries currently suffering from social & political unrest. May peace, liberty & justice prevail in this earth for all children & citizens of the world !
