Long Distance Bus: Huangshan>Hangzhou - CNY87. Starting Oct 2010, you can take a bullet train from Hangzhou > Shanghai-45mins. A 2nd class ticket costs CNY82

Departed Huangshan in the morning and arrived Hangzhou (by bus) around noon. The aircon bus journey was very pleasant & comfortable ! After a 14 day visit to China, it was time for me to farewell my brother who had to take an Air Asia flight back to Kuala Lumpur on 14 Sept.

Indeed, my brother was very pleased with this visit, after seeing 8 interesting cities & places ie Tianjin, Beijing, Taishan, Qufu, Suzhou, Shanghai, Huangshan & Hangzhou over a two week period.

We had a great dinner meal to celebrate at a franchised food restaurant in Hangzhou.

In Hangzhou, we spent the bulk of our time taking an afternoon & evening stroll in West Lake - a popular tourist attraction.

" China has 36 lakes carrying the name of West Lake. But the West Lake in Hangzhou is the most famous. If you want to finish taking a stroll and admire the full beauty of West Lake, this could take 4 hours. The Lake is about 5 km across and 14 km around - so enjoy a boat ride, a slow walk or an evening stroll in West Lake .....
