Day 3 Tuesday May 19 2026 (Singapore) - my 3rd day in Singapore, our group of 6 accompanied by my cousin Sung visited The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands & Gardens by The Bay; after the visit, my wife & 2 sister-in-laws took a Grab & visited the Chinatown area whereas my group of 3 (myself, brother Weng & sister Mei) took a Metro from Bayfront > Yishun & met up with my brother Hong & Jennifer (wife) for a Bat Kut Teh lunch in Northpoint Mall, Yishun followed by a visit to my brother Hong's house in Sembawang. In the evening, our group of 6 visited Clarke Quay Riverfront & the surrounding followed by a dinner in Clarke Quay Central Mall - great vibes & beautiful scenery !
1) Morning breakfast in Albert Centre Market & Food Centre, Queen Street, Singapore - window shopping for food prior to our breakfast !
2) Meet up with my cousin Sung for a bus ride (S$2.10) from Bugis Junction > Marina Bay to visit Gardens by The Bay.
3) Arriving in Marina Bay bus station / Bayfront MRT station & a short walk to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Bayfront Avenue, Singapore
4) Shoppes at the Marina Bay Sands - one of the Singapore's largest luxury shopping malls with over 800,000 sq ft of high end retail shoppes, the complex houses a casino, expo / convention centre, upscale restaurants etc
5) Bayfront, Marina Bay Area, Singapore - a major tourist attraction, beautiful Singapore city skyline, nearby you could visit ArtScience Museum, a Las Vegas-style casino, celebrity chef restaurants, Marina Bay Sands Hotel, The Sands SkyPark & Infinity Pool, Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Shoppes at The Marina Bay Sands & The OCBC skybridge walkway above the ground between the iconic Supertree in Gardens by The bay.

6) Gardens by The Bay, Marina Gardens, Singapore - an urban park spanning 105ha in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir, free admission to outdoor grounds including the Heritage Gardens, Sun Pavilion, & the Supertree Grove at ground level & watch the evening Garden Rhapsody Light show, admission ticket required for entry to the cool conservatories & elevated walkways ie Flower Dome, OCBC Walkway, Supertree Observatory & Floral Fantasy.
7) Cloud Forest, Gardens by The Bay - the cool interior (pay to enter) houses the world's largest indoor waterfall & mist-filled greenery.
8) Supertree Grove, Gardens by The Bay - home to 12 of the Garden's 18 iconic Supertrees as well as the 128m long OCBC Skyway.
9) Marina Bay Sands Hotel as viewed from the Gardens by The Bay
10) Exiting Gardens by The Bay & took a Metro train ride from Bayfront MRT station to Yishun to meet up with my brother Hong for a Bat Kut Teh lunch in Northpoint City Mall, Yishun.
11) Arriving in Northpoint City Mall, Yishun, Singapore
12) Lunch with brother Hong & wife in Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Yishun City Mall - savoured a set menu of a Teow Chew style pork rib dish cooked in broth, yummy yummy taste !
13) Walkabout in Northpoint City mall after the lunch
14) Bus ride from Yishun Bus Station to Canberra Road, Sembawang to pay a visit to my brother Hong's house.
15) A visit to my brother Hong's HDB flat, Canberra Road, Sembawang - a short rest & chat before heading back to our hotel.
16) Coffee time with my brother Hong in Toast Box, Sun Plaza, Sembawang (nearby my brother's HDB flat)
17) Metro train ride from Bras Basah (nearby Stamford Hotel) > CQ@Clarke Quay - evening walk along the Clarke / Boat Quay Riverfront & boulevard area to admire the night scenery !
18) Dinner at Clarke Quay Central Mall - savoured a hot clay pot chicken rice (S$10.20) with my wife in a Food Court, Clark Central Mall; after the dinner, we took a Metro from Clarke Quay > Bras Basah to our hotel for a well earned rest & sleep ! A great day indeed !

Day 4 (Final) Wednesday May 20 2026 (Singapore & Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) - departed (09.15) by First Coach from Star Vista Mall > Digital Mall, Subang Parade, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (arriving 15.30). Home Sweet Home !
1) First Coach Office Counter, Ground Floor, Star Vista Mall, Singapore - located behind a 7-Eleven shop, after our hotel check-out, we took a 6 seater Grab ride (S$31) from Oxford Hotel (07.30), Queen Street to Star Vista Mall (approx 9km); prior to the Grab ride, bought fried mihoon / noodle (taobao / takeaway) & light snacks from Albert Food Centre to be eaten as our breakfast at Star Vista Mall prior to the bus ride.

2) Time to say bye bye to Singapore !
3) First Coach bus heading towards the Malaysian side after the Singapore Immigration clearance at the Malaysia / Singapore Luas Second Link border check point - fast, efficient & smooth going (no ink passport stamping but biometric facial recognition to speed up immigration clearance) !
4) Stopover (20 minutes) at a North - South Plus Highway Rest & Recreation center in Pagoh Johor - light refreshment & toilet break before arriving Subang Jaya at around 15.30, Home Sweet Home, thus fulfilling my mission of a re-union meet up with my Chow family cousin brothers & sisters (Sung, Chan, Mum, Fong, Lan & Mui), my youngest brother Hong & Jennifer & a separate meet up involving my wife's aunt side ! A big thank you to all my Chow cousin brothers & sisters + my brother Hong & wife + my wife's aunt's side for the warm hospitality & company during my group's visit to Singapore. Wish them all always in good health & take care !
