" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy visit (09.00>16.00) with my wife & sisters Peng & Mei to Seremban & Nilai, Negri Sembilan on Sunday Nov 28 2021, traveling by my own vehicle (using GPS); my 16th outdoor trip after a National Lockdown (Movement Control Order / Emergency) imposed by the Malaysian Government on May 5 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases, a National Vaccination campaign is currently being implemented by the Malaysian Government (Phase 1 started in Feb 2021, as at Nov 28 2021, a total 22.5 million individuals or 96.1% of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations); Selangor (my home state) is now under National Recovery Phase 4 (NRP4) starting from Monday Oct 11 2021 hence the Malaysian Government has eased restrictions allowing individuals with vaccination certificate or card for their inter-state travels, dine-in restaurants, hotel accommodations & homestays, outdoor sport activities etc).
My travel buddies - my wife & sisters Peng & Mei who accompanied me for this trip.
Total expenses incurred: Rm30(petrol) + Rm11.60 (toll) + Drinks Rm5 = Rm46.60 (US$11); the distance from Subang Jaya (my home place) > Seremban is approx 73km (one way).
Seremban - the capital of Negri Sembilan, gained its city status on Jan 2020, established around the 1870s in Rasah which was rich in tin ore & this led to an influx of Arabs, Malay & Chinese immigrants to work on the mines.
1) Centipede Temple (Then Tze Khoon), Jalan Temiang, Seremban - sits on the ridge at the top of Wu Gong Hill (Bukit Jung), about 127m above sea level, this Taoist temple is 140 years old, requires a climb of 264 steps to reach the temple ! A major tourist attraction (not so crowded during the Sunday weekend due to Covid-19), A legend story of centipede on this temple, 3 story pagoda, giant stone Centipede, Qing dynasty bell, antique lanterns, statues of deities (8 Immortals, Guan Yin, God of Marriage or Yue Lao, Guan Di, Golden Toad, Laughing Buddha, Monkey God), other shrines outside of the Temple are Purple Cane Gazebo & Datuk Altar, fish & tortoise pond, a great place for family outing & taking selfies !
2) A panorama of Seremban City & the cool surrounding as viewed from the Bukit Jong (Wu Gong Hill), overlooking greeneries & countryside
3) Seremban Heritage Trail - a heritage preservation & conservation project located within the Seremban City, the project is organised by the Seremban Municipal Council, in collaboration with government agencies, non government organizations & the private sector. During my recent visit (Nov 20 2021) to MATTA Fair in World Trade Center, I picked up a copy each of tourism brochures on Seremban Heritage & Art Trail, both these brochures serve as a useful guide for my group's free & easy visit to this Seremban visit. In Jan 2020, I made a solo visit & took a KTM train from KL Sentral > Seremban train station & visited downtown Seremban following the Heritage Trail !

6) Nilai City, Negri Sembilan - a city local near Seremban, close to the border with Selangor, due to its close proximity to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Nilai is now a rapidly growing town !
Nilai 3 Wholesale Center, Negri Sembilan - early morning visit (08.15 > 09.00) to this largest wholesale center in Malaysia, a one-stop destination of wholesale, tourist & shopping parade offering a wide variety of goods & items at very attractive & competitive prices, businesses not yet open at the time of our visit !

Sin Yee Kee Beef Noodle, Pasar Besar (Grand Market), Seremban - our group's lunch in this famous beef noodle stall, Rm9 (US$2.10) for a bowl of beef noodle soup (a treat from sister Mei), waiting time about 30 minutes during the lunch hours but well worth the wait, yummy taste - the best beef noodle soup I had eaten thus far !
Kedai Siew Pau Asia, Seremban - customers queuing to buy the popular Seremban barbequed pork siew pau (selling like hot cakes), Rm2 (US$0.47) per piece ! Sister Mei's delight so I drove her to this shop to buy some siew pau home & also a treat from her as all of us had an enjoyable outdoor trip to Seremban & Nilai on this Sunday weekend ! Nilai was my 1st visit ! Another beautiful Sunday !

Tuesday Nov 30 2021 - the last day of the month of November in 2021 ! I took a few pictures of the morning sky in front of my house before the start of my morning walk; beautiful sunrise, orange-red sky brightens up my day !
Interesting to learn that by turning on Location History in my Google Account, I could receive the following data (via monthly email) giving me personalised information on Google, including better restaurant recommendations & suggestions for a faster commute ! My November 2021 activity indicated that I had walked 37km (9 hr) & travelled 627km by public transport ie LRT trains or own vehicle to places as highlighted in the map ie Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Nilai & Seremban ! Amazing !
