" My Staycation & Jalan Jalan (Walkabout) free & easy day trip to Dengkil (Sepang District), Banting, Pantai Kelanang, Pantai Morib, The Lover's Bridge, Tanjong Sepat & Pantai Batu Laut (Kuala Langat District), Selangor on Sunday April 25 2021, (07.30 > 15.30) travelling by own vehicle together with my sisters Inn, Peng & Mei (total 4 people); my 40th outdoor trip after the enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO 1.0) by the Malaysian Government on March 18 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic; MCO 2.0 ended on March 4 2021 & revised to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on March 5 2021 banning inter-state border travels but allowing allowing inter-districts; however, effective May 6, all inter-district travels will be banned & reviewed on May 17 2021; my first visit to Pantai Kelanang & Pantai Batu Laut, Selangor "

Travel Itinerary: Subang Jaya (my home place) > Taman Equine (sister Inn home place) > Dengkil (Sepang District) > Banting > Pantai Kelanang > Pantai Morib > Tanjung Sepat (Kuala Langat District) > Pantai Batu Laut > Taman Equine > Subang Jaya (approx 210km)
From May 6-17 2021, 6 districts (Petaling, Hulu Langat, Klang, Gombak, Sepang & Kuala Langat) in the state of Selangor will be placed under Movement Control Order (MCO) for 12 days. All of Kuala Lumpur will also be placed under a full MCO for the 3rd time, effective May 7 2021 for 13 days ! The MCO 3.0 rules are :
- No dine-in at eateries
- No inter-district travel except for work & emergency
- No social activities
Total expenses incurred: Rm35 (petrol) + Rm6.30 (toll) = Rm41.30 (US$10)

The start of my free & easy day trip (07.30 > 15.30) from Subang Jaya (via Taman Equine) to Dengkil, Banting, Pantai Kelanang, Pantai Morib, Tanjung Sepat & Pantai Batu Laut, Selangor
My 1st Stop - Subang Jaya > Taman Equine > Dengkil, Sepang, Selangor (approx 25km)
1) Dengkil, Sepang District, Selangor - a small country town, lies between Cyberjaya & the Multi Media Corridor to the north & Salak Tinggi in the south, due to the close proximity to Putrajaya, the town has seen great progress in recent years !
On our way to Banting, our group made a detour towards Paya Indah Wetlands (closed due to Movement Control Order) & made a brief stop along the roadside to visit an unkown dragon fruit farm, Jalan Dengkil, Banting, Selangor; the Sepang district & nearby area are famous for dragon fruit farming !
My 2nd Stop - Dengkil > Banting, Selangor (approx 23km)
2) Banting Town & Dataran Banting, Selangor - a town in Kuala Langat district, the historical Jugra, a former royal town of Selangor is located near Banting, nearby also lies the Morib Beach, strong in agricultural activities eg oil palm plantations, poultry farms, betel leaves & also in SMI industries, also the hometown of our Malaysian badminton player, Rashid Sidek ! Dataran Banting, Selangor - an iconic landmark along the main trunk road
My 3rd Stop - Banting > Pantai Kelanang, Banting, Selangor (approx 36km)
3) Pantai (Beach) Kelanang, Banting, Selangor - laid back beach, lined with pine trees for shady picnic & family outings, very windy & relaxing, a great place to unwind yourself from the hustle & bustle of city life !
My 4th Stop - Pantai Kelanang > Pantai Morib, Banting (approx 7km)
4) Pantai (Beach) Morib, Banting, Selangor - one of the nearest beaches to Kuala Lumpur, good public amenities, toilet facilities, a food court, marine park, children playground, paved walk paths etc; the beach was a historic landing point of 46 Indian Beach Group (42,651 personnel & 3,968 vehicles) on Sept 9 1945 (2nd World War); my last visit to Morib Beach was in Oct 2017 !
My 5th Stop - Pantai Morib > Tanjong Sepat (The Lover's Bridge), approx 20km
5) The Lover's Bridge, Tanjong Sepat, Kuala Langat, Selangor - used to be a wooden pier & a jetty for fishing boats to dock during the low tide; in the past, the bridge was a favourite haunt for couples at night, the bridge was recently rebuilt & upgraded with concrete reinforcement & street lights & a new complex housing souvenir shops & an open square & a food court.
My Good Old Days - The Old Lover's Bridge (not so well maintained a few years ago), Tanjong Sepat, Selangor, my last visit was in Feb 2018; attractive street art in front of the bridge but this piece of artwork had faded away in recent years !
Lover Bridge Beach Local Product Shop & Antiques Corner, Tanjong Sepat, Selangor - located approx 1 km from the Lover's Bridge; selling a range of souvenirs, local produce & dried seafood products catering mainly for local tourists / visitors / day trippers.

6) Pantai (Beach) Batu Laut, Tanjong Sepat, Kuala Langat, Selangor - a quiet beach located between Morib & Tanjong Sepat, mostly mangrove swamps, soft muddy sand, a large Anchor statute as an iconic landmark for this beach can be visibly seen from the main road !
Gold Coast Morib International Resort, Kawasan Kanchong Laut Mukim, Banting, Selangor - a 4 star beach resort with over 400 rooms
Istana Pantai Bahagia Morib, Jalan Kampung Endah, Kampung Labohan Dagang, Banting, Selangor - a beach palace owned by a royal family !
Small Eat - our group's lunch in a restaurant in Tanjong Sepat, Kuala Langat, Selangor; dried noodle or fish ball or bitter gourd / fish ball mi hoon soup per bowl Rm5 (US$1.20) & clay pot seafood & pork offal soup Rm10 (US$2.40), a treat from sister Mei.

After 6 to 7 hours of Jalan Jalan (Walkabout & Driving) from Subang Jaya to various beaches in Banting & Kuala Langat & nearby touristy places, our group decided to head for home; time to bid for the country roads to take us home to the place we belong ! Home Sweet Home !
