Durian - King of the Fruit ! 

" My Jalan Jalan / Walkabout & chat time over a dinner with my travel buddy, Boon in Petaling Jaya, Selangor on Wednesday March 4 2020 (15.30>19.30); also took the opportunity to visit the popular Durian Stations & SS2 Food Court in Petaling Jaya, Selangor " 

Subang Jaya (my home place) > SS2, Petaling Jaya - 16km one way (self drive, petrol Rm10=US$2.38) 

Wednesday March 4 2020 - my late afternoon & evening visits to Durian Stations & SS2 Food Court

1) Durian Station, SS2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor - one of the best places for durian feast in Klang Valley, a favourite hunting spot for quality durian ie Musang King, Black Thorn, XO, 101, D-24 etc, durian prices differ from season to season depending on weather & harvest & also supply & demand, pricey to eat but no lack of durian lovers & tourists patronising the 3-4 durian stations in SS2 especially in the evening ! if you have fever avoid eating durian as this King of tropical fruit contains high level of monounsaturated fats ! 

2) Durian Man, SS2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor - a cosy place to enjoy tasting the various varieties of durian on offers, check quality & prices first before commence eating ! when durian is in season, everyday is durian day in Durian Man station ! 

3) SS2 Durian House Stall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor - banners promoting various varieties of durian ie special offers, buffet durian, eat as much as you can for Rm50 or less, 3 for Rm50 D-24 variety ... 

4) SS2 Selera Makan (Food Court), Petaling Jaya - outdoor food court with over 80 hawker stalls selling the best hawker's fare, open daily from 17.00 ... popular hawker food are nasi lemak, mixed economy rice, bah kut teh, fried koay teow, steamed fish head, fish head mihoon, beef noodle soup, Hainanese chicken rice, won ton noodle, porridge, rojak, ice desserts, fried oysters & cockles, Thai Tomyam noodle .... 

5) SS2 Commercial Center, Petaling Jaya 

6) Dinner with my travel buddy, Boon at SS2 Food Court, Petaling Jaya - Nasi Lemak + fried chicken + French fries + cucumber + anchovies = Rm12 (US$2.85); ice cendol (Rm3.50) & sugar cane juice drink (Rm4.00)
