For my visit to Czech Republic, apart from visiting Prague, I was fortunate to find time to visit Cesky Krumlov & Cesky Bedejovice, both towns are located on the Southern region of Czech Republic and close to Austria.
1) Cesky Krumlov - The most picturesque and charming town in Europe. Most of the houses have remained almost unchanged since the 18th century. The Gothic border castle built in 16th century is second only to Prague castle in size. From the Florenc bus station in Prague, you can take a bus to Cesky Krumlov , the journey takes around 4 hours. The country side landscape turned yellow as our bus approached closer to the Cesky towns.

2) Cesky Bedejovice - this quaint country town is 25km from Cesky Krumlov. It is also the regional capital of South Bohemia. The famous Budweiser beer is originated from here. Good for a short day trip if you are visiting Cesky Krumlov.
Something to ponder in Cesky Krumlov: Far from the madding crowd, life here seems to be slower in this quaint little town of Cesky Krumlov. A great place for people with hectic urban lifestyle to unwind and relax ! Let this cute little fellows (pictured below) greet you and and I am sure the local folks here have a lot of folk tales to say on Cesky Krumlov.
" In travelling, sometimes you go to places which are off the beaten tourist track. Both Cesky towns have the beauty and charm to enthuse you and make your visit a memorable one .
The Secret of Life - Remember that not getting what you want is sometime a wonderful stroke of luck "
