Day 4 Wednesday Nov 23 2022 - our group's 1st day in Hua Hin after staying for 2 nights in Hat Yai. After our hotel early check in, our group started a walkabout in downtown Hua Hin & visited the Chat Chai Market & Hua Hin Beach & then a short rest in our hotel in the early afternoon after making a pre-booking of a sedan car for use in this afternoon till the following day (16.00). In the evening, using the hired car, our group made a visit to The Venezia (a Theme Park), Fishing Pier & Guan Yin Temple & an evening walk to the Hua Hin Night Market before retiring for bed!
Travel Itinerary: Hat Yai > Hua Hin (approx 747km) by sleeper train.
1) woke up early & took a few pictures of the countryside scenery from the moving train's window
2) Our sleeper train arriving in Hua Hin train station from Hat Yai at 08.00 (late by 1 hour), Hua Hin train station was voted one of the best train stations in Thailand!

3) Chaaba Chalet, Sarong Road, Hua Hin - 300m from Hua Hin railway station, free breakfast, room tariff king bed twin sharing 480bht = Rm62.40
4) Walkabout in Hua Hin town - my 3rd visit to Hua Hin & the last visit was in Aug 2017 !
5) Our group's breakfast at a Thai Chinese restaurant in downtown Hua Hin

8) Chat Chai Market, Hua Hin
9) Bought 2 packets of roasted pork rice (60bht = Rm7.80 takeaway) from the same restaurant where our group had our early morning breakfast this morning.
10) Car hire (1,000bht = Rm130 for 24hr use) from a car rental booth company in downtown Hua Hin in planning our visits to various touristy places located outskirts of Hua Hin commencing this afternoon (16.00) & as well as tomorrow, total petrol paid for the 24hr use of the car was 130bht (Rm17) for a group of 5.
11) The Venezia, Hua Hin, Cha Am - using the hired car, our group made our 1st visit (17.00) to The Venezia, a local theme park in suburban Hua Hin! Due to Covid-19, the park offered a discounted entrance ticket price of 100bht (Rm13) hence 4 of our group took up the offer & roamed the theme park for 1.5hour as it was late afternoon, there were no other visitors except our group members!
12) Fishing Pier, Hua Hin - our group's evening visit using the hired car!

14) Huan Hin Night Market - a down the memory lane visit for me when I visited this Night Market in Aug 2018 together with my Singapore & Klang travel buddies! Welcome back, KM!
15) Dinner with my wife at a local restaurant near the Hua Hin Night Market
