Day 2 Monday 4 Nov 2019 - Jiuxiang Gorge & Cave National Park visit continued
1) Fairly Vale, a peculiar underground canyon with more than 100m height & 3-5m width. It's cliff are steep & archaic; over 3,000 steps of walking from one end to the exit end !
2) The Crossing-cave Ancient River - formed by the stream eroding the ancient karst riverbed ages ago !
3) Stromatolite - lying in the siliceous dolomite of Dengying Formation are actually the deposits huge quantities of dead blue-green algae that lived in the ancient marine & tidal environment 600 million years ago !
4) JiuXiang Blind Fish - also known as Spanish Blind Mackerel, a rare fish, living in the cave without light !
